but no to explain on my end I grew up in a place and culture where words regardless of their history are treated as just a word in that moment and situation (for example my family frequently calls eachother mexican slurs, my family jokes about my mom being a lesbian, my mom jokes about me being bisexual) Mexican culture is very progressive overall, homosexuality was decriminalized in 1871 and sexual/gender diversity has always been a large part of our indigenous culture. Personally, I am bisexual, experienced gender dysphoria during my teenage years and have been in a committed relationship with a transwoman for over two years and donate money out of every single paycheck I receive to house homeless LGBT+ youth. I have 0 hate for anyone for how they are born, how they express their gender or anything that is uncontrollable by them. If I knew that using the t-slur would bother other members of staff I would never have used it and I apologize for doing so.(edited)
